Swan

Our elegant swan design has always represented the divine illumination and grace of the goddess Saraswati (Goddess of knowledge and illumination). The swan is actually her consort, always accompanying her on her quests. These beautiful, sleek and graceful birds flow though life and mate for life. There are three pairs of swans on the kimono symbolizing loving relationships, divine balance, commitment, loyalty, transformation and strength.
Wearing this exquisite kimono helps to awaken intuition and opens the way to direct communication with the Source and self. It is also about harmonious, balanced relationships. Swan in Sanskrit is ‘Paramahansa’ and is the name of a well known Indian guru- Yogananda.
